This porridge is a part of the diet of 90% of the population of African countries, this dish is known by different names depending on the country. In Guinea and Mali it is called Toh.
To make this porridge you will have a choice between cornmeal or cassava powder .

Ingredients:
3 cups of water
4 or 5 cups of one of these flour : cornmeal, cassava powder, sorghum flour
salt to taste ( optional)
Direction :
- Place 2 cups of the flour in a bowl and add 1 cup of water, then mix well until you get a thick paste.
- Next, bring 2 cups of water to boil in a casserole , then add the paste stirring quickly using a wooded spoon.
- Next gradually add the remaining flour stirring constantly until it thickens.
The consistency will depend to your preference, you can more flour if you want.
Ugali can be shaped into balls and serve with a nice sauce. And Enjoy!
